De grote opening van Helen door kunst, een expositie van Jamal Khamis, vond zondag 22 augustus plaats in de Oosterkerk. Het thema werd gedurende een introductie van 25 minuten belicht door drie gastsprekers met elk een unieke invalshoek. De gastsprekers, organisatoren en vooral kunstenaar Jamal Khamis ontvingen meerdere keren een hartelijk applaus van het publiek.
Because of extended Covid-19 measures, the 'Healing through art' exhibition has been postponed. In collaboration with Oosterkerk the dates have been moved to August 22 until August 28.

October 2 will mark the beginning of a new art exhibition with the art of Jamal Khamis. Visitors will be able to enjoy or even purchase Khamis’ art along with the art of several other artists at ‘Het Claverhuis’ in Amsterdam.
On November 11, Jamal Khamis received the International Galileo Galilei Award 2014. Khamis his art has been selected by The International Academy Gentilizia Il Marzocco in Livorno, Italy. The ceremony took place in the famous historic center of Florence.
